Outstanding bottlenecks still restrain industrial development. The box recovery rate of small and medium leasing enterprises stands below 70%, due to imperfect reverse logistics recycling networks. Unified national standards for turnover boxes across industries and regions have not been fully established, and incompatible box dimensions among different enterprises hinder the popularization of shared leasing models. The unstable supply of recycled plastic raw materials leads to short-term price fluctuations that squeeze manufacturers' profits. To tackle these pain points, logistics industrial parks in multiple regions are building public shared turnover box pools. Local governments take the lead in formulating unified general standards and supporting centralized cleaning and sorting hubs. It is estimated that more than 120 regional circular packaging sharing hubs will be completed nationwide by the end of 2026, forming a complete closed loop covering turnover box production, deployment, recycling and remanufacturing. The whole turnover box industry will step into a new stage of low-carbon, standardized, intensive and sustainable development.
