Plastic crates are commonly used in logistics, packaging, transportation, and warehousing. Generally, plastic crates of good quality will not present significant problems under normal use. However, due to their plastic nature, they may deform or experience other problems when placed in high-temperature environments.
The use of plastic crates in high-temperature environments varies depending on the specific situation; their heat resistance is not universally guaranteed. Common high-temperature environments include baking, steaming, and boiling. However, the degree of heat resistance in each case varies. Steaming is the highest temperature, followed by boiling, and baking. While steaming can maintain temperatures of 90°C, baking can only maintain temperatures of 70°C. However, this temperature is maintained under normal conditions. Under abnormal conditions, i.e., prolonged exposure to high temperatures, this cannot be guaranteed. Normally, it should last no more than 40 minutes to an hour.
